Nogometaši Manchester Cityja učvrstili su se na drugoj poziciji engleskog prvenstva minimalnom 1-0 (0-0) pobjedom na gostovanju kod Leicester Cityja u susretu 27. kola.

Pogodak vrijedan tri boda postigao je Gabriel Jesus u 80. minuti na proigravanje Mahreza. Time je Brazilac ispravio Aguera kojemu je u 62. minuti vratar domaćih Schmeichel obranio kazneni udarac.

Drugi City sada ima 57 bodova, sedam više od trećeg Leicestera, ali čak 19 manje od vodećeg Liverpoola.
